Welcome to our Ambassadors for Green Chemistry website! We are excited to see this event network and unite those interested in green chemistry. The Ambassadors for Green Chemistry is an event arranged by students at Gordon College in conjunction with the University of Oregon, that seeks to promote the field of green chemistry. The event revolves around a group of Green Chemistry Ambassadors who are experts in various areas of green chemistry. Our Ambassadors will be available to give you a behind-the-scenes look at an area of green chemistry that might interest you. We hope to have a broad range of participants, such as students, researchers, and teachers. Our ambassadors will gather with interested folks and head to local restaurants to discuss current and exciting aspects of green chemistry in a casual and informal "birds-of-a-feather" setting. This event will promote the networking of green chemistry professionals with those eager to learn more about the emerging science. We hope this aids in building a community of individuals devoted to furthering the science of green chemistry. For the convenience of those attending the plenary symposium, Big picture concerns and real green chemistry solutions, the group will meet at the Moscone Center at the site of that symposium.
